Katie Cuthbert

Katie Cuthbert is an experienced plantswoman, an insect-lover, and the owner of Mountain & Meadow Garden Design. With a BA in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College and Certificates of Horticulture and Invasive Plant Management from the state of Rhode Island, she brings a deep understanding for sustainability and ecology to her work. She began her career in 2016 as a garden educator and program coordinator at The Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm and later for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. In 2020, she transitioned her focus to fine gardening full-time and has worked with clients in both the Hudson Valley and coastal Rhode Island. Her designs blend the romance of English gardens with the wildness of United States native meadow and forest scapes. She specializes in native plants.
